The D56 eLearning Day experience has been designed to engage students in continued learning on days when the district is closed due to an emergency.

Parents, guardians, or caretakers will be asked to sign off on the eLearning log. There is a log in your child's take-home folder. You may also download and print the log from this website. The eLearning Day is intended to last 5 hours (300 minutes), and the log should reflect that in order for the student's attendance to count.
If you encounter technical difficulties during the eLearning Day, please post your question or concern at this link and then monitor the chat room for a response. Someone will respond to your concern on that page in as timely of a manner as possible. An eLearning Hotline is also available - please call 847-505-1850 if you need assistance.
If your child receives speech therapy, the lessons have already been downloaded on student's iPads.
Top 5 Things You Need to Know About eLearning
1. If the assigned work is not completed and a log turned in, your student is marked absent for that day.
2. Work may be submitted up to five days after the eLearning day.
3. Mrs. Clark will be available via ClassDoJo messaging or email from 8:30-4:00. Another Spaulding staff member will contact you on the phone sometime during the day to make sure everything is going as planned. 4. Because this is kindergarten, students WILL NEED ADULT HELP to complete their eLearning assignments.
